Tadenava is the birth place of Rainis. It’s the holy place of a genius, the cradle of his belief in love, grounded in a beautiful and quiet Selonian forest side. It’s the only memorial site of Rainis where the civilzation hasn’t damaged the ancient energetic information of the surroundings, which was coded in to the subconsciousness of the poet, forming the perception of his life.
The house built by his father in 1865. (now museum), the hundread year old maples and lindens and the river of Eglaine all hold the memories of the poets childhood.
